Mailing Services and Prices

Do you have questions about mailing? Check out the mailing services we offer!


Process List, Address, Mail: $75 per thousand ($60 minimum)
National Change of Address (NCOA) (required by Post Office): $15 flat fee per list
We can provide a report that shows all changes upon request.

**NCOA changes expire after 5 weeks. Lists must be run
again if the second mailing is 5 or more weeks later.


*List Preparation: All lists should be Excel or CSV files with no spaces.


Additional Services:

Collate, Insert & Seal: $120 per thousand (minimum $75)
Folding: $30 per thousand
Requirement for Newsletters:
• Tabbing (2 tabs - no inserts): $30 per thousand (minimum $25)
• Tabbing (3 tabs - no inserts) : $40 per thousand (minimum $30)
• Tabbing (4 tabs - required if there is a loose insert): $60 per thousand (minimum $50)


Data Merge: Personalize the interior letter!

Data Merge (name and address and other variable information) on both letter and outer envelope.

• This process takes more time to ensure that the correct personalized items are inserted into the corresponding envelope.

• The cost for this process is $125 per thousand ($75 minimum), this includes processing the list, data merging the letter and envelope and mailing.

Most professional
Data Merge on letter only then inserted into a window envelope.

• This process is quicker as there is no matching involved between the item(s) and envelope.

• The cost for this process is $90 per thousand ($50 minimum), this includes processing the list, data merging the letter and mailing.

Budget-friendly middle ground

Check with your local post office to see which of the following is right for you*:
*If we are printing the piece for you, we can print on the piece a request for address changes. Every post office is slightly different in their terminology, so you need to speak with your local Post Office to see which you want to use.

Return Service Requested : a piece is undeliverable or forwarded, a notice is mailed to the sender with information of how it was undeliverable

Address Service Requested (extra charge): a piece is forwarded and a separate notice of a new address is provided to the sender for a fee


Postage - all postage costs are per piece

First Class Rate (stamped): 50¢
Non-Profit Bulk (non-profits only [minimum of 200 pieces]): rates vary by weight, parts of the country, and the amount of pieces going to specific zip codes. We offer the lowest possible rates with pre-sorting and bar coding.
Non-profit stamps are available upon request.
Standard Bulk : rates vary by weight, parts of the country, and the amount of pieces going to specific zip codes. We offer the lowest possible rates with pre-sorting and bar coding.


Timing
**Please note that because of Amazon signing a deal with the United States Postal Service, it has created a great mass of mail and packages to sort through, resulting in a slower delivery time across the board.
Keener Marketing, Inc. will always work as quickly and efficiently as possible to get your mailing to the post office. The speed depends on the mass of mail going through each post office. KM is not liable for the speed in which the Post Office handles Bulk Mailings.


First Class: First Class is typically delivered in 1-2 business days, and nationally it will be delivered in 3 business days. If an addressee has moved, your mail will be forwarded at no additional cost for a period of one year from when the move occured. If a piece is undeliverable, it will be returned to you at no additional charge, and it will include the reason that it was not delivered.

Presorted First Class:
Presorted First Class provides the same speed and level of service as First Class but also offers postage savings when mailing 500 or more pieces. Reduced postage prices of an approximate 20% savings over First Class postage. To receive the lower postage rate, the addresses must be NCOA updated, and sorted in "presort" order.

Bulk Mailing: Bulk mailing delivery dates vary. Typical time is 10-14 days once it's dropped at
the Post Office.







Text on custom printed items is fully editable at no extra charge, and colors and photos can be replaced to suit your needs (fees may apply). This does not apply to stock items (already printed items.) *Please note that free customization comes with a purchase.
